Hey everyone, my name is Trei, I just moved to gainesville to attend UF. I've left my 2002 Mustang GT (my 500hp baby) in Jacksonville and bought a red 5spd 1997 VW Jetta from a customer at the shop i used to work at Volkstech (a VW/Audi shop in Jacksonville) to get around in without using a lot of gas and putting miles on the mustang.

I didnt really like the car but VWs have a way ...

I have loved VW's for a long time my first was a 1973 Bug when I was 16. My Dad and I did a lot of body work new seals and running boards, painted Chevy Dark Irid Blue. Then I went a different direction until 2004 when I bought my 1984 Rabbit Convertible. I have upgraded to a 1.8l 16V with a ported and polished head and dual exhaust cams. Tri Y exhaust manifold and custom 2.25" exhaust system...

Hey, im Damien and I just moved down here from Panama City Beach. I couldn't beleive there wasn't a VW club down here already and seeing how I am going to be here for the next 5 years, I am hoping that by creating this forum we can create a nice sized dub scene in Gainesville.
